A podcast unlike everything I’ve heard before
As a young(ish) Magic player, I never really got to play through most of this game’s history, and it’s so interesting to hear the historical context of the changes we see in the meta and general deck building decisions over time. We’re starting with some recent sets which I love, and I’m super excited to delve further back as well!
I think it’s so cool to have a podcast focused not just on what the best includes in decks are, not just how many of each spell should I run, not teaching the fundamentals or deck techs (though all those have a place). Instead talking about how those fundamentals formed and changed over time, how building in Magic changed over time. I love what we’ve gotten so far, the cohosts are some of the coolest dudes in Magic, and I’m excited to have my new drive to work podcast!
