[BONUS] 3 Tips for Feeling Good About Yourself at the End of the Year

[BONUS] 3 Tips for Feeling Good About Yourself at the End of the Year

Welcome to today's bonus episode. If you're listening to this in real-time, it is the end of the calendar year.

I don't know about you, but during this time of year, I tend to start thinking about what I have or have not accomplished.

This is probably true for you as well.

You start to think about the goals that you made at the beginning of the year and take score. Do you get a gold star or a big red fail?

While it's not a bad thing to reflect at the end of the year, sometimes this process of self-assessment can leave you feeling like you didn't get as far along as you wanted to.

Even if you are feeling good about what you've accomplished toward the end of the year, that negativity bias in your brain, it could be telling you that it still isn't enough.

In today's bonus episode, we're going to talk about three tips for feeling GOOD about yourself at the end of the year instead of using this time to take score on what you did or didn't accomplish.

[BONUS] Advocating for Yourself as a Multi-Passionate Woman with Krystal Woods

[BONUS] Advocating for Yourself as a Multi-Passionate Woman with Krystal Woods

Something you might not know about me is that I'm a very assertive person.

You know that person at dinner who will send back a meal if it's not to their liking? Yeah, that's me.

I've learned that being able to advocate for myself, especially as a Black woman, is something that is not optional.

I've also learned that being an outspoken person has its challenges and that going through life with the ability to speak up for yourself isn't something that comes naturally to everyone.

If you're curious about what it means to advocate for yourself as a multi-passionate in various areas of your life, you'll enjoy this conversation.

This interview originally aired on the Under the Surface podcast with host, Krystal Woods.

I interviewed Krystal back on episode 19 about Human Design (linked in the show notes below), but this interview on her show is a bit different and our conversation was SO juicy that I wanted to share it with you here.

After chatting a bit about why I do the work that I do as a life coach for multi-passionates, we dove into the benefits and challenges of being someone who is naturally assertive and passionate about self-advocacy.

I can't wait to see what this conversation sparks in you!

Ep 29: [Season 2 Finale] 3 Ways to Prioritize Rest as a Multi-Passionate

Ep 29: [Season 2 Finale] 3 Ways to Prioritize Rest as a Multi-Passionate

Hey, multi-passionate! Let's explore how you can prioritize rest and make it a non-negotiable aspect of your life.
Do you set aside time to rest without any guilt, or are you waiting until you have everything "figured out" before you allow yourself to take a break and enjoy a period of rest?

Do you know what "resting" TRULY means for you specifically?

Do you have enough space in your schedule for rest to be an option?

And have you decided that resting only means taking a nap/doing nothing, or have you considered more active ways to rest as well?
These are the questions that today's episode will help you answer.

Insightful!

I heard D’ana Joi interviewed on another podcast and enjoyed it so much that I had to come check out her show, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve always felt like an entrepreneurial outcast for having multiple interests, and I love that she both validates and supports that with practical insight. Her seasons of focus idea is brilliant and so helpful! Looking forward to listening to more!
