66 - The Story of the Great Plains Butcher, Eugene Butler

Welcome back to MAF! We have practically two episodes in one this week. First, we have the obligatory discussion about Baby Reindeer*. We offer our thoughts on the story as well as the craftsmanship of the show. Then, Joanne shares the story of North Dakota's only serial killer. Taking place at the turn of the 20th century, there are details about this case that are still unknown to this day.

    Baby Reindeer discussion: 2:27-28:45

    Eugene Butler's story: 28:46-1:01:41

65 - The Story of the Murders of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley

Believe it or not, we're back! We've been away for quite some time and we're sorry about that. We've been hiding in our secret MAF underground bunker but have emerged to bring you a brand new episode to start a brand new season.

To kick us off, Joanne tells the very recent story of the disappearance and murders of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley - two Kansas mothers and their inadvertent run in with the fringe group, "God's Misfits."

64 - The Breaking Story of Traci Soderstrom

Hi everyone. We had to touch on current events this week, but we do also have a main story to share with you. We discuss a judge who was caught sending hundreds of (highly inappropriate) texts to her bailiff as a man was on trial for murder. If you want to skip directly to that story you can find it here: 8:24-32:14

Ugh get rid of the girl

It’s so hard to listen when someone’s always interrupting with stupid irrelevant comments. Very frustrating. I’m out.

Awful

This woman is insufferable. Literally one episode, 3/4 of it not about the subject, just her babbling about getting covid and other nonsense. Like a child with a microphone. Couldn’t even get through one episode. 👎🏼👎🏼

quality content ,

Great show

I’m not much of a true crime guy normally but the hosts have great chemistry as opposites, most shows like this live and die by the personalities telling the stories. Informative and funny
