Murder on My Street Dee Dee and Jennie

At 5:45am on Sunday, September 5, 1982, 12 year old Johnny Gosch grabbed his wagon and his dachshund Gretchen and headed to out to deliver papers.

By 7am, neighbors were calling to ask where their Sunday paper was. Thinking Johnny had overslept, his parents went to wake him. Only Johnny wasn't in bed.

Then, Gretchen returned home without him.

John Gosch discovered his son's wagon two blocks from the house. It was full of papers.

At the time of his disappearance, Johnny Gosch was 5-foot-7 and weighed 140 pounds, with light brown hair and blue eyes. He had freckles on his face, a gap in his front teeth, a birthmark on his left cheek and a horseshoe-shaped scar on his tongue.

Two men disappear within 3 months of each other.

Each of them were last seen in the back of the same officer's patrol car.

His story: He let them out at a nearby Circle K.

What happened to Felipe Santos and Terrence Williams? Both men were close to their families and neither would have simply walked away from their life.

How do you disappear from the side of a major highway in the middle of a busy holiday weekend?

On May 24, 1990, the car that Paige Marie Renkoski was driving was found abandoned on the westbound shoulder of Interstate 96 one-half mile from the Fowlerville, Michigan. No trace of Paige has ever been found.

In 1999, police received a hand drawn map in the mail that claimed to lead to Paige's body. The note claimed the person sending it had overheard the murderers speaking about kidnapping and killing Paige. Unfortunately, searches and excavations came up empty.

Though fingerprints were taken from Paige's car, they have not matched anyone currently in the system.

Sometime in the summer of 2018, Courtney stormed out of the house she lived in with her adoptive mother, adoptive brother and son. She had a large bag packed. When Judy told her to get back in the house, Courtney told her "I'm not staying here anymore." 
"Here" where she was referred to as Cindy, short for Cinderella, because she did all the household chores. "Here" where her own son was forced to call Judy "Mom" and her adoptive brother "Daddy". "Here" where her every moment was monitored by her adoptive brother, Joshua. Courtney wasn't allowed a car or a phone or social media to communicate with friends. 
But Courtney never escaped. Instead, Joshua picked her up, carried her back into the house, and no one ever saw her again. 
Courtney was reported missing in October 2019 when the woman dating the father of her son called the police for a welfare check.
Judy and Joshua were not cooperative. They fled the state with Courtney's son. He has since been reunited with his father, but Courtney is still missing.

At 12:09am on July 28, 2021, cameras captured Katie Janness and her pit bull Bowie crossing the pride crosswalk on 10th into Piedmont Park.
When her girlfriend Emma got home from work, there was no sign of Katie. She texted her but got no response so she pinged her iPhone. It was inside Piedmont Park, which wasn't a concern because Katie frequently walked Bowie there. What was concerning: her phone wasn't moving.
At 1:11am, a panicked Emma called 911 from outside the park after discovering Katie and Bowie dead. They'd been brutally murdered. Both had been stabbed to death, but Katie's murder had been extremely horrific. She was stabbed 50 times and the letters F-A-T were carved into her abdomen.
Today, we are joined by special guests Beth and Bailey from True Crime BnB as we unpack this unsolved murder.

On October 10, 2014, Rico Harris was headed back to Seattle after a quick turnaround trip to his mother's house in Alhambra, California. At 10:45am, he sent left a voicemail for his girlfriend saying he loved her and he was going into the mountains to rest. It was the last anyone would hear from Rico.

What follows is a series of puzzling sightings, a search that yields only his backpack, his cell phone, one insole, and some footprints. 7 days after he first went missing, a driver called in to report another sighting of Rico in the area where his car was originally located. Searchers would find a fresh set of size 18 footprints, but still no Rico.
