SO GOOD!

Born and raised Mormon. This was absolutely delightful to hear his perspective. He is funny and his reactions to the Book of Mormon are so interesting. Having grown up Mormon I was never taught how to look at this book critically. I was just indoctrinated to believe it’s “the most correct book on earth.” Since I left the church a couple years ago, I feel like this is my redo. My chance to acknowledge that this book really is quite ridiculous and it’s so liberating and even healing to just laugh at it. It’s like this podcast is my farewell to the BoM and a great way to release
the hold it had on me for so long .
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Helped me discover Mormonism - it’s true!

Forever grateful to this podcast for introducing me to the Church of Jesus Christ. As a long time student of the Bible and a hobby historian of early Christianity, I was amazed to learn how many of Joseph Smith’s teachings agreed with the beliefs of 1st Century Christians. I was vaguely familiar with Yale professor Harold Bloom’s views that Smith, was an “authentic religious genius” vis-a-vis his “ uncanny recovery of elements in ancient Jewish theurgy that had ceased to be available either to Judaism or to Christianity, and that had survived only in esoteric traditions unlikely to have touched Smith directly.” I But it wasn’t until I started listening to this podcast, which is pretty funny, that I became really interested in Mormonism - and have since converted.

Word!

MyMo is the best podcast for anyone interested in "the Book of Morman" as read by a neutral observer. The comments and banter are the crux of this show, the special guests some once believers add that extra spin. I found this podcast by accident and have been listing to it it non stop since December 21 2019 and I'm on episode 73 as I write this review. I will listen until I've cought up and continue to listen. After reading the Bible Old and New testament and being mortified at the shear brutality of the "WORD OF GOD" the next indicated step was clearly TBOM. Holy S#!T I'm going to write my own sacred text!
