Insightful questioning

Bill asks great questions: they indicate that he has read the authors work/ engaged with their process, is eager to gather useful information and to share usable tips with his audience. I particularly enjoyed the episode with Gay Hendricks (No. 220, July 22,2019), where he dove into the energetics & language of how to move past the ceiling many of create in all areas of our lives so we can make that Big Leap.

Outstanding Interviews

As an entrepreneur I greatly appreciated the advice from Bill’s interview with Sylvia Melena. I’m excited to read her book “Supportive Accountability” because of the specific leadership advice that she gave on this podcast. The interview was transactional and inspirational! She sounds like she is breaking down doors in management as well as literally!

The Efficiency Paradox: Interview with Edward Tenner

I just listened to Bill's interview of Edward Tenner (#178). Insightful discussion about how our quest for efficiency and short-term, localized wins can cause long-term problems. Within that general theme, Bill and his guest shared actionable tips such as: slow-down and 'waste' time on creativity; dig beyond Google's first-page to explore less obvious answers; value diversity of skills and mentalities even where immediate value may appear limited; set metrics that support truly desired activity and don't overwhelm. These are all wonderful, actionable, and powerful tools. I'm looking forward to the next podcast in my subscription.
