Episode 44: A Very Spooky Holiday

Episode 44: A Very Spooky Holiday

Cue the jingle bells - it's time for a holiday episode! We bring in our other halves to tell you about some odd and spooky holiday traditions all over the globe, including Tió de Nadal, Caganers, Saturnalia, Frau Perchta, and Mari Lwyd. Heads up - in the most Midwestern of ways, we misprounounce a whole lotta stuff in this episode - most significantly "Caganer" which we now recognize is pronounced (Cah-Guh-Nay). Sincere apologies to all Spanish speaking folks - I promise, our intentions are pure! Required Viewing: Tió de Nadal Video/SongFor images and notes related to this episode click here.

Love this!

Not sure how to reach you, but I have a weird hobby, I raise 2 types of bugs! I have a baby dragon and I raise superworms and dubia reaches! They are great! So cute and I am very educated on how to raise them!

Good topics, bad audio, say

I love the topics and fun. But the audio isn’t the best and one host says “say” a lot.

Mighty Midwest!

This is such a neat and refreshing podcast! Sara & Danielle  do a great job researching and reporting on all kinds of different topics. Their voices are lovely and their laughs infectious. They have a great way about them and I can't wait to hear more!
