Mystery Wire is dedicated to reports on Area 51, UFOs, military technology, paranormal, mysteries and just great news stories. The site is your portal to the world’s largest archive of journalistically vetted news stories, interviews and special investigations into a diverse universe of strange, unknown and unsettling subjects.
Veteran newsman George Knapp has been bringing great stories to the KLAS-TV audience in Las Vegas since 1981, establishing a national reputation for treating unusual topics with serious journalism.
Experts weigh in on the latest efforts to form a federal department to investigate unidentified flying objects.
Trinity UFO crash investigated by Jacques Vallée
George Knapp sits down with astrophysicist and the world's foremost authority on UFO mysteries, Dr. Jacques Vallée to talk about his new book, Trinity: The Best-Kept Secret. It tells the story of a UFO crash in New Mexico that happened a few days after the first test of the atomic bomb nearby and two years before the more famous Roswell incident.
Skinwalkers at the Pentagon - A conversation between authors Dr. James Lacatski, Dr. Colm Kelleher, and George Knapp
Skinwalkers at the Pentagon unmasks the massive scope of the Pentagon’s landmark UFO study that ran from the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, D.C. The Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program, or AAWSAP investigated the “Tic Tac” and other “nuts and bolts” UFO events, analyzed intrusions of UFOs onto US military bases, as well as probed the plethora of bizarre phenomena that government investigators encountered on Skinwalker Ranch.
Written by two program insiders and a respected journalist, Skinwalkers at the Pentagon comes to a conclusion that has never before been revealed!
Encountering UFOs often led to the “attachment” of strange phenomena to military personnel who visited the Ranch and brought “something” home to their families, resulting in frightening eruptions of paranormal events in their households that terrorized and sometimes injured their children.
By the end of the two-year program, more than 100 separate technical reports, some of which ran to hundreds of pages, were delivered to the Defense Intelligence Agency. Among them was a 149-page report on the Soviet (and now Russian) UAP investigation/analysis capability. Another details the design and build of a functional prototype for an autonomous Unidentified Aerial Phenomena surveillance platform.
Mob on the Run (1995)
In 1995, George Knapp revisited and updated the original 1987 'Mob on the Run' documentary made by Ned Day and Bob Stoldal for KLAS-TV Channel 8 in Las Vegas, NV.

Great podcast. Bad commercials
I love this podcast! BUT what is up with the religious commercials?? I respect everyone’s right to their religion but I don’t want to hear it like you are selling me a bed like a normal podcast. George Knapp is a pioneer in this field and I will always support the drive for truth.
Great podcast … but
This is a great podcast …. but i am hearing it in mono. Any chance of doing the future podcasts in stereo??? Wearing headphones … I am only hearing it in one ear which makes it difficult to listen to …
I’m leaving 5 stars because I love and appreciate everything George has done for the topic. However, I’m disgusted by the audio quality. I don’t understand how a group of people, who literally make their living in radio and news, can produce something like this. Art Bell wouldn’t allow this low quality audio from a Saturday night caller, let alone be involved in producing something with such horrible audio. My 1996 Dell computer with remote mic had better audio.
George, Jeremy, Lou, Chris and several others, are literally the tip of the spear on this subject. Your group collectively, has done more for the subject than anyone else in history, in my opinion. Treat the podcast with respect, ditch the tin cans, or don’t do it at all. I’m always excited when a new podcast comes out, then thoroughly disappointed when I hear the audio quality.
