NACOR Consulting Presents: Organisational Resilience – COVID19 Reflections Episode 4: Alicia Beard NACOR Consulting Presents: Organisational Resilience - COVID19 Reflections

    • Social Sciences

Our fourth special guest in this podcast series is my very good friend Alicia Beard.  Alicia is an Emergency, Crisis and Business Continuity Management expert working full time at Deakin University as their resilience SME, whilst adding to her already impressive academic achievements, completing her masters in emergency management and graduate certificate in the psychology of risk (not bad choices if I do say so myself). In this episode we discuss the impact that COVID has had on the tertiary sector, COVID conspiracy theories and how the tertiary sector may look post COVID.

About Alicia:

In addition to Alicia's current studies, she also holds a Master’s degree in Policing, Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism, and undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy.  She has vast experience in emergency and crisis management, and more recently business continuity within a variety of sectors such as mining, engineering, and all levels of education.  More recently, due to COVID-19  she has been working from home, helping direct schooling of two primary aged kids, a large dog that is loving having multiple walks a day and a timid cat that has no idea why she home all the time.
