Worship Podcast

I enjoyed the worship podcast and it’s peek under the veil of the worship ministry at Calvary Monterey. It was a blessing to hear the intentionality of how the worship is put together, and the care to which the song choices are made.

Also, I loved the slight philosophical discussion as well into what Worship truly is. Lest we forget and think it’s all about us and not about God.

With the competing worlds of worship music as an industry and worship music as a ministry, it is often difficult to hold onto the spirit and the truth of the gospel.

It’s easy to not put thought and care into song selection and orderly worship. Even when Paul calls us to have orderly worship. It can be a sacrifice to hold that balance. I pray that the Lord blesses the worship ministry at Calvary Monterey so that you continue to “run the race.”

Finally, I loved that the some of the discussion at the end of the podcast that showed your heart and the intentionality of how you plan a service. How you help leading people into vertical worship through the process of coming together and then corporately moving to focus our hearts and minds on the our Triune God (Father, Jesus, and Spirit).

I’m looking forward to listening to some more podcast.
