Welcome to the final episode of Series 2 of National Treasures, we really hope you've enjoyed it. Plans are well under way for Series 3,so we should be back with you by mid January, and if you think you'll miss us too much, just head to our Patreon page and become a Committed Rambler where for £5 a month we will do you an extra podcast, every week, all year round. https://www.patreon.com/nationaltreasures
For this episode, we followed up on one of our excellent conversations from our YouTube series and we headed down to Cardiff Castle to meet our friend Lloyd and explore all that Cardiff Castle has to offer. We got a personal guided tour, a look at Cardiff from above, and we saw a wall that was built by actual Roman hands...incredible. Enjoy!

The Black Country Living Museum with Darren Harriott

The Black Country Living Museum with Darren Harriott

This week, for our final guest episode of the series we take our little bottoms to the Black Country Living Museum to learn all about The Black Country. Named for its industrial past, the area is steeped in rich history and it comes to life at the museum. We had sweeties, fell in love with a mayor and judged parking extremely harshly. Enjoy!

    Anglesey/Ynys Mon with Kiri Pritchard-Mclean

    Anglesey/Ynys Mon with Kiri Pritchard-Mclean

This week Laura and Will were invited to Anglesey to sample all that the phenomenal island off the North West coast has to offer. They see a Bronze Age standing stone, a museum dedicated to traditional Welsh life, they have a paddle, Will befriends a dog (sort of) and they visit Church Island: a small island full of graves with an incredible view of the Menai Strait. After all that, they head off for a pint with Kiri to discuss just why she's so in love with the island. If you enjoy the episode, check out our patreon page for an extended version with a full 20 more minutes of content from our day out and chat with Kiri. Just go to patreon.com/nationaltreasures

    Mid Season Years & Years!

    Mid Season Years & Years!

Hello Treasurers! As some of you may know, Will and Laura produce an extra podcast every week for their patrons. It's called Years & Years and each week they choose a year at random and one researches it just about well enough to badly explain it to the other one. We thought, as we're just a little way over halfway through series 2, that we'd give you another little taster and if you like it, why not get an episode of it every single week into your ears? Just head to patreon.com/nationaltreasures and sign up to the Rambler tier!

So good, so funny.

Not only is this podcast a great option to get excited about future travel when you are stuck at home, but it is also very funny! I laughed a lot listening to the first episode.
If you have ever traveled with will this is also a little nostalgic because his quick quips are tied to some of my best laughs while traveling, and this podcast keeps them coming.
