Episode 30: C Money Burns on the Politics of Music
C Money Burns is an engineer/producer/multi-instrumentalist musician out of Portland, Maine, and specializes in analog mastering for vinyl & cassette. He regularly releases with RI-based "Commie Art Rap” pioneer Brzowski, and has worked with talents like Kool Keith, Sole, billy woods, ELUCID, Ceschi, Myka 9, Riddlore, Open Mike Eagle and more on over 150 releases. Burns studied Music Industry at Northeastern University, got undergrads in audio engineering from Massachusetts Communications college and Philosophy at University of Maine, and has done post-grad study in Analytical Marxism and contending economic theories at various institutions. Most recently, Burns served as producer and co-host for popular Leftist podcast Trickle Down Socialism, and as Director of Political Education for Southern Maine DSA.
