Everything in life is a negotation

As a sales guy I know that there is much to sales that is negotation. But what I have learned through Kwame's show is that it affects so much more than just sales, or business. That there are small (or large) negotations in every aspect of dealing with others. I also love that he wants people to embrace constructive confrontation instead of avoid it - that success is on the other side of that.

I started to follow you here after your FPA seminar in UCI

Kwame, I recently realized that negotiation and psychology will be key components of my future career advancement. And at the right timing you speech on high level negotiation taking points and your style has positive impact on the FPAOC education seminar in February.

Then I downloaded most of your previous podcasts and started listening while commuting. Much of your interview highlights is in line with my value proposition in financial industry in terms of treating prospects and clients.

I really want to take time here to appreciate your effort on this “ side gig” as your passion. Right now, I’m at the initial negotiation stage in a business collaboration opportunity. While being authentic being myself, learning all these tactics and value philosophy can’t help me more to build up my confidence and other soft skills.

Thank you and keep going!!!

Insightful and enjoyable

This podcast is worth listening to. I like the range of approaches beyond the seminal getting to yes technique. The guests bring a range of tools. I’m liking this week’s experimental approach to conflict resolution and communication: pattern breaking. Great stuff.
