Don’t be mean
Haters sit down lovers arise
Good content
I love when they have differing opinions on the game. When Nolan hates a game and the other two love it, I know it’s going to be a hilarious and good episode. It’s great that they put so much effort into experimenting with every aspect of the games they play, things I wouldn’t think of. I’m only 80ish episodes in at the point of writing this but there hasn’t been a boring episode yet, not even when they had to play Space Invaders. Which given the amount of content in that game is impressive. Great show. Listen to it
Unapologetically Authentic
The concept is simple and brilliant. The host are honest, authentic, and likable who are fiercely dedicated to their audience. Best of all the show does not fall into the traps every other retro gaming podcasts out there seems to. They don’t infuse politics into the discussion. They don’t condescend to the audience or the games. And most of all they do not pretend to be something they are not. They admit they are not gaming journalists, experts, or historians. Instead they are proud to simply be a show where 3 guys play 1 old game for 7 days and then we talk about it.
Never stop boys, the community needs people like you now more than ever.
