Bible Basics: Answers to 7 Common Questions about the Bible.
The Bible is an extremely powerful and helpful book of history, wisdom, love, and guidance, yet many of us rarely engage with it long enough for it to create an impact in our lives. What is holding us back from exploring this book from God more often? Perhaps if we knew more about it, we'd be interested in reading it regularly. In this one part message "Bible Basics", Pastor Jordan answers many frequently asked questions about the Bible so that we may be inspired to read it for ourselves and learn all that God has for us in its pages.

Reaching out to others with God's love | Come As You Are
We may hear people say things like "and then I found God", or "I found God when I..." - but what if it's the other way around? In part three of "Come As You Are", Pastor Joe teaches us that from the beginning of time God is the one who has been seeking us out. We simply have to accept His love and begin a relationship with Him! But that's not where things end. Once God finds us, we are then able to reach out to other people who need His love - which is everyone we meet!
Do I have to change my life to follow Jesus? | Come As You Are
The Bible teaches us that God has a plan and direction for our life once we start following Jesus... but how are we supposed to find out what it is? Once we begin our faith journey, what happens next? In part two of "Come As You Are", Pastor Joe teaches us that in order to say YES to what God is calling us to, we must say NO to other things. And once WE know Jesus, we are all called to lead OTHERS toward Jesus too! The good news is, we never have to do any of this alone.
Do I need to change before I come to church? | Come As You Are
Many of us have tried really hard to change things in our life - patterns, relationships, personal goals, etc - only to discover that we just don’t have what it takes. It can be frustrating to want to be better or to figure out what this life is really for and feel like we're getting nowhere. Where can we find real help? In part one of "Come As You Are", Pastor Joe teaches us that no matter what our struggles are, and no matter what kind of experience we've had with church or with God, Jesus wants to help us in EVERY aspect of life. We are welcomed into a relationship with Him just as we are!

What about when leaders in the church use their power to deeply hurt people? In the finale of "Scary Church", Pastor Joe tackles the sensitive topics of church hurt and spiritual abuse, and teaches us how we can prevent it, as well as find healing when it does occur.
Passionately sharing freedom and wholeness
The more ways we can share the good news of the freedom and wholeness that can be found in Christ, the better! I’m so blessed to be part of this church and I’m praying these podcasts reach many!
I’m so happy we’re able to reach out with the Good News of Jesus via podcasts. This is the message that changed my life, and I hope it will change yours too.
When my Mom & Dad started bringing me to this church in 1984, the best we could do to get the message out of the room was to make tapes and hand them to friends. But now we’re using every means we can to get the word out.
Thanks for listening!
