New Relic The Internship Show

    • Careers

On this episode of The Internship Show, we speak with Cristin Rigney and Duyen Nguyen from New Relic. Cristin is Pacific Northwest born and bred, and worked in an HR role for 12-years and in university recruiting for 8 years. She has  built and run internship programs with 4 companies in financial services, healthcare consulting, and tech. Where Duyen graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a degree in Neuroscience and minor in Finance. She started her career working in financial services, but then succumbed to the extrovert's adage of "loving to work with people" and that's how she got her start in recruiting. It was in that transition that she found a passion specifically for university recruiting since she gets to work with students to build a launching pad for a successful career.

They shared the best ways to make connections at a company, what makes their program special and how students in tech can stand out when applying to a role.
