Our trailer thoughts specials have been an MMO pastime, and we’ve always enjoyed a talk radio styled segment or two. So it was time to merge the style with the substance with a goofy new way to talk about these trailers with “or, as Mike puts it.” One Mike does a quick synopsis, the other Mike pretends he just watched it in a theater and reacts. It’s a weird and fun way to introduce our thoughts on the first few of these trailers
Before we dive into all the trailers, we catch you up on some release date changes. Films have moved off the calendar as expected, while others solidified plans for PVOD or streaming to assure us they’ll be a part of this awards season. Then we dive into our trailer reviews on Happiest Season, Wild Mountain Thyme, The Midnight Sky, The White Tiger, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, The Prom, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Raya and the Last Dragon, Mank, News of the World, & The Life Ahead.
