When Dr. Angela Garza Offoegbu was growing up in San Antonio, Texas she knew that college was in her cards. That laser focus got her into optometry school and allowed her to become a successful optometrist with her sights now set on opening her very own private practice, Eyes of Cresta Bella.
We discuss her journey and some difficult decisions she had to make along the way. As we reflected we saw how linear both our paths were and we came upon that realization that for young people of color failure is simply not an option. The only way to go is up and the future is looking really bright.
