Just How Much Will People Pay for Blanco Tequila?

Is It Criminal For American Restaurants to Not Sell American Wine?

Is It Criminal For American Restaurants to Not Sell American Wine?

In response to a ton of listener feedback, Adam, Joanna, and Zach weigh on a recent slew of social media posts from a famous sommelier-turned-winemaker who claims that the American restaurant industry is being criminal for not better supporting American wine...and a lot of other noise. They have thoughts. Can Restaurants Keep Up With Cocktail Bars?

Why Do We Care About Sustainability in Wine, and Not in Spirits?

Why Do We Care About Sustainability in Wine, and Not in Spirits?

Adam, Joanna, and Zach ponder why sustainability is such a central part of the conversation around wine, from vineyard practices to alternative packaging, while the same considerations almost never come into the broader conversation around spirits. Do "Functional Beverages" Actually Function?

    Do "Functional Beverages" Actually Function?

Adam, Joanna, and Zach discuss the curious case of the rise of functional beverages - drinks that rely on adaptogens, nootropics, and other buzzy ingredients to create an aura of healthfulness and safe stimulation, despite many of the ingredients being untested and lightly studied. Then, they try two examples from category leader Kin Euphorics. Best pod for beverage alc perspective

Adam Teeter is that dude. Almost always hits the nail on the head and puts me on to amazing perspective. Must listen.

Great industry pod

Very diverse range of subject matter that really delves into the nuance of a particular topic.

Lost me with latest episode

Happy they are addressing this issue, but kind of a wasted opportunity to have a substantive conversation about the topic vs. condemning one single person’s point of view. Very clearly have very strong feelings against this person, so why bother with such a negative podcast? Uplift the industry or dig in deeper and ask more questions rather than taking the time to waste our time with what you think we should feel. We are more intelligent than this and deserve a more meaningful format for this conversation, especially with wine sales falling substantially along with the demand for the sommelier. That being said, I’ll just stop listening.
