Parent Question: I hate my kid’s music. What should I do?
Our kids may want to listen to songs we don't like. Do we forbid music with explicit language, sexualized content, or racist lyrics? How and where do we draw the line? Mandy and Kim share how they approach this ongoing conversation as well as what worked and what did not!

Good counselors are booked. What can I do while we wait?
Because there is such a shortage of good counselors, we wanted to bring on Jamie Mershon, MA, LPC to equip parents with practical ideas for helping their kids in the meantime.

Fentanyl (Special Guest: Tall Cop)
You have probably heard about fentanyl, but maybe you're not sure exactly what it is, why the death rate is so high, and how to talk to your kids about it. We've invited international speaker, retired police officer of 18 years and drug expert, Jermaine Galloway (also known as Tall Cop), to break it down and educate us about the importance of this life-saving conversation.

NextTalk
I listen to nextTalk podcasts every week. They are so helpful and give me things to think about and start conversations about with my family. I love how nextTalk has helped our family communicate in a more open and honest manner. It’s been life changing!
You lost me on “get your child protection if they’re having sex”
If your child chooses to have sex, despite you telling that it’s God-honoring to wait till marriage, your answer is to make sure they use protection and take them to the OB? Ok, I’m done with this podcast. What terrible advice.
Very helpful
I started listening NextTalk about a year ago, I recommend it to my friends and family when they start taking about topics related with their kids like
Bullying, sex, pornography, teenagers, the only child, family, traditions etc, etc. Every single topic has been helpful for me. I’m so blessed listening nextTalk. God bless you and keep helping families with your podcasts. 🙏🏼😊
