    Grow Spiritually

This Sunday, Frank Foreman concludes our current sermon series, "Church on Purpose," a preaching series that reminds us how important it is to look back to the early church and to the word of God to find out God's will and purpose for us individually as Christians and collectively as a church family.
    -------------
In this final week, Frank goes one more time to the book of Matthew and looks again to the Great Commission in Matthew 28. In so doing, we will together study the purpose we have as a church family to commit ourselves to discipleship, as we continue to strive together to grow to maturity in Jesus Christ.

In this second week, Frank takes a close look at the second of the purposes for which the church was established by God, Ministry. He uses a familiar parable of Jesus, the Good Samaritan, to illustrate the importance of ministering to others with the love of Christ and what that should motivate us to do and to whom we should offer such compassion.

    The Wrap-up

    The Wrap-up

This week, Frank Foreman and Dave Smith wrap up the current sermon series based on the seven affirmative statements Jesus makes about Himself in the Gospel of John. He begins each of these unique with the statement "I Am." This week, Frank and Dave discuss some of the highlights and applications from the series.
    -------------
Of course, these statements Jesus makes were not simply affirmations of His character. They tied directly to the personal name of God from the Old Testament (I Am that I Am). In each of these statements, He profoundly ties His characteristics to the Father and declares His divine nature.

True to the Word

I appreciate the preaching and teaching content that comes from this church. I love the commitment to Biblical truths. That is not to say other churches don't do that. It just seems clear that NHCC has made a commitment to make sure the Word of God is not only referenced in the message but the real life applications are highlighted through those biblical truths.
