Nice Jewish Fangirls

Just found this pod through other pods Michal was on, first heard her read on YouTube…. I think Michal is amazing and although I’m not Jewish; I’ve spent 25 years studying Jewish culture and even studied for a semester in Jerusalem. I am not religious but it was one my degrees… I really hope you come back, you are highly intelligent and have an amazing perspective!!! As a non-religous person, I find this podcast both informative and entertaining. Relating all the best things in pop culture to Jewish culture and faith is such a great way to learn and expand my horizons. All three hosts have great chemistry with one another and give a great mix of humor and insight. I really hope the podcast continues on. Go listen now!

Hi, my name is Rochela, I’m a Jewish Fangirl, and my current obsession is a podcast that I’ve been binge-listening to for two months called Nice Jewish Fangirls! I’m not on Facebook, but I’m aware of OLUF (and jealous of those who are part of it), so I was super excited to hear about this podcast and I hoped it would live up to my expectations. It didn’t. It went far, far beyond them, and I’m so happy to be a fan of NJF. You guys are so real and so relatable- it sounds like you have so much fun talking about fandom-ish stuff and then you go and connect it all back to Judaism. I want to insinuate myself into the podcast so y’all could be my new best friends. I get so excited every time you talk about (or slyly hint about) something I love. We as Orthodox Jewish nerds are such a unique group and I love this podcast for being just for us. Thank you so much for gifting the world of Nice Jewish Fangirls with your voices of humor and insight about altogether awesomeness.

It is so nice to hear female Jewish podcasters discussing all things fandom! I also appreciate the “current obsession” segment because it has introduced me to so many new shows, movies, and books. Keep up the great work!
