Also, gaming rumors run rampant this week, and they touch all facets of the industry. Meanwhile, consolidation hits a arm of the gaming biz no one expected, IGN gobbles up Eurogame, gamesindustry.biz and more, plus EA SPORTS College Football is here and has a release date. Plus the MCU is plotting its return, Star Trek is confused and the Monsterverse looses its captain.

Well would you look at that, 6 years in, we are still rambling about nonsense. Ubisoft finally announces and shows off its newest Assassin's Creed, Shadows, set in feudal Japan, allowing everyone to play out their Shogun dreams. Meanwhile, Square Enix is finally going to support a multiplatform agenda, and Helldivers breaks a record. Also Hollywood upfronts are going on, so we have a ton of TV news, not to be outdone, by the announcement of a new Lord of the Rings movie, or the return of Happy Gilmore.
