BIO
I'm Nicky, The Autism Coach, I live in the UK with my teenage son and my very vocal cat Snippit. I was 34 when I realised that I am autistic and ADHD. After the initial shock of my difference wore off, I had one aha moment after the other, as I started to realise why I did some of the things I did. It showed me that my differences were perfectly normal to my brain type. Having a vast background in personal development, I started to share my expertise with women and girls around the globe! Every autistic girl deserves validation, respect, and self-confidence. This is what I empower my girls to do! I help autistic women and girls love and accept themselves for who they are, period!
When you work on yourself and put changes into place that support your needs this can strengthen your relationships, but it can also cause relationships to fall away too, if you put boundaries into place and people push against them, these people are the people who really needed the boundaries in the first place, don’t be afraid to push forward, you can only control how you react, you can’t control how others react or how they see you, sometimes people aren’t meant to be in our life for the long haul and that’s OK
