Great Stories, Great Readers

I love listening to horror stories and Nightmare Magazine does a really good job.

Gone to hell

Over the last year or so one of my favorite podcasts has become so weak. It frequently attempts to become preachy and woke in heavy handed ways that dispense with even a patina of metaphor. It doesn’t really work in horror.

Still my favorite *UPDATED

3/2019 **update!** Thank you for hearing listener concerns interspersing more diverse narrators. Still love you, Stefan Rudnicki! This podcast shines with the quality of its stories and the commitment to representing cultural, religious, gender, and sexuality as integral to experience of a protagonist and not a fetish or token mention. You guys consistently deliver quality content. So many thanks!

12/2018- I don’t know why they stopped having different narrators do the show, and I have nothing against Stefan Rudnicki, but sometimes his voice is just. not. appropriate. for a story and it seriously interferes with immersion.
