Graveyard Smash: BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935)

She's Alive! Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they embark on the macabre masterpiece of life after death that is James Whale's Bride of Frankenstein (1935).

Shriek as we try to make sense of whatever the heck Dr Pretorious is up to in this kooky silver-screen masterpiece! Hate Living. Love Bride🤘⚡💀

On this week's episode of Nightmare on Film Street your horror hosts Kim and Jon are joined by Joe LoTruglio (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) to discuss his directorial debut Outpost. You may know LoTruglio from his comedic work, but he's a lifelong horror fan, finally fulfilling a lifelong dream of directing a scary movie.
We talk all about his childhood horror obsessions, the experience of filming in a swaying outpost high above the tree line of Idaho's forest range, and how much weight the entire crew lost hiking up and down the side of a mountain every day of production. Join ussss....

    Suburban Nightmares: SERIAL MOM (1994)

    Suburban Nightmares: SERIAL MOM (1994)

On this week's episode of Nightmare on Film Street, your horror hosts Kim and Jon are looking past white-picket fences and perfectly manicured lawns to venture into a world of Suburban Nightmares. Just in time for Mother's Day, we're getting goofy and chatting about John Waters' macabre comedy Serial Mom (1994).
Far from the gross-out exploitation films of his early career, Serial Mom is more tame but equally outlandish comedy from the Pope of Filth. Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they debate the 90s addiction to true crime, divulge some John Waters' darkest secrets, and dive headfirst into the Kitsch-obsessed world of Camp. Join ussss....

    Graveyard Smash: FRANKENSTEIN (1931)

    Graveyard Smash: FRANKENSTEIN (1931)

It's Alive! IT'S ALIVE!! Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they embark on the next monsterific segment of The Graveyard Smash podcast series, beginning with The Universal Monster Classic Frankenstein (1931).

For over 200 years, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus has haunted horror fans with its grim, ghoulish exploration of life and death. Boris Karloff cemented the iconic look of the monster in a performance that has never been topped! Shelley's novel was the birth of the world's greatest horror story, but James Whale's 1931 talkie marked the creation of a truly legendary monster.

We've finally made our way into the world of mad scientists, sympathetic villains, and legacy defining monster makeup! Dracula (1931) may have introduced the world the to creatures of the night, but Frankenstein (released the same damn year!) kicked the Universal Classic Monsters into high gear and gave us a monster that's as punk rock as they come. Hate Living. Love Frank 🤘⚡💀

The Monsters of Mel Brooks: DRACULA: DEAD AND LOVING IT (1995)

Got Blood? Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they close out their horror parody double-feature with Mel Brooks' Dracula: Dead And Lovig it (1995), a silly but surprising faithful send-up of Bram Stoker's classic vampire story. Starring Leslie Nielson as a laffy, daffy (batty!) So much fun

They are a great balance between fun and movie buff. If you aren’t someone who hasn’t seen everything or someone who is deep into the genre you can enjoy this show. Stay creepy!

Not for me

Their banter sounds like a cheesy FM morning radio show. If you find that type of content entertaining then I suppose you’ll like this.

So cute

They are super enthusiastic and cute together about horror. I love the throwback stuff a LOT. Please stop saying God “****,” which is very insulting to people of faith and the show will be 5 stars all the way.
