Happy and safe St Patty's Day to all! In this episode we have our good friend of the show Luke Karohl join us for some Kearney Earlybird Take it or Leave it and some season props....but better yet, we have Nora Karohl join us as well for her March Madness Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4 and winner picks. She also plays the 5man and we have some fun along the way. Hope you all enjoy!
2021 Too Early Top 10's
It's March 1st, supposed to be 60+ degrees tomorrow so that means it's time! The annual Too Early Top 10's with Trey Houle. This season, not 1, not 2 but 3 Top 10 Lists! Did your team make the cut? Is there a new king of the hill in each division? Listen and find out what Trey thinks headed into 2021. We also take a peek at the Earlybird in Kearney along with other random thoughts as always.
Hope you all enjoy!
2020 Recap/Ask Jake Anything
Fun one to round out 2020, thank you all for submitting some AJA questions. We go all over the place as usual...hotdogs, conspiracy theories, a Pioneer Auto version of M/F/K (thanks alot TJ) and even one from my lovely wife. I had fun and hope all do as well listening, happy holidays & new year to everyone and looking forward to 2021!
Chris Zwiebel, Matt & Jake Hohensee Round 2
Well, back at it again with the guys for round 2. Just throwing around some questions, chatting it up and seeing what happens. Random fuckery, on the fly questions and even have Kelly play Breaking Bad version of M/F/K. Had a great time and hope you all enjoy
A fun sit down with Austin Chambers of T's 13 covering a little of everything as usual. His path to the Open division, the balance of playing fun games with friends and serious softball and the differences between and how far .37 cents really does get you when asking someone to play. Appreciate the hospitality from Austin and his wife Deanna to have me over to record so I hope you all enjoy the fun conversation.
Kacey Piep w Robert & Lisa Northrup
Joined on the phone by Kacey Piep from Vernal Utah, he and his mother Lynette run a benefit tournament every year to help people who unfortunately get injured while playing. This past season they helped Lisa & Robert Northrup when Lisa was injured in Las Vegas during winter worlds. A nice story of how we can all come together through the game we love to help each other out.
Awesome podcast! Love Jake’s take on softball and sports in general.
