No Dogs In Space is a music history podcast featuring Marcus Parks and Carolina Hidalgo of the Last Podcast Network. On this first season, we're taking a deep dive into the history of punk rock, told through the stories of ten bands who helped define the genre. On our first series, we cover the so-called godfathers of punk, The Stooges. Join us as we explore the early days of Iggy and the boys as the more innocent of their drug-fueled escapades as the band tries figuring out their voice in the midst of the ultimately empty peace and love movement.

Beastie Boys Pt VI: The Sure Shot

Beastie Boys Pt VI: The Sure Shot

As our story of The Beasties comes to it's final stop, Carolina and Marcus breakdown a time in the group's career when they had already achieved greatness but strove to artistically take their sound to another level. Through new found collaborations and pulling from all of the creative elements that made up their earlier successes, the 3 MCs from NYC would go on to record "Hello Nasty" & some of the most memorable hits in their catalog. Lastly, with a new, slightly-more mature point of view, the Beastie Boys enter the swan song era of their career, which sadly ends in 2012 with the loss of founding member MCA Adam Yauch.

Worrh the wait!

Ive been waiting and waiting for this podcast since I first heard Marcus mention it on LPOTL! Nothing better than listening to two smart people full of knowledge(and who can remember what they know) talk about something so near and and dear to my heart-punk music! Thank you both!

Great pod

I’m so glad these guys are back! I was afraid there would only be one season.
