Tim Aumiller and Scott Schneider of NO HOPE share thoughts on musicals, culture and the 16+ year collaborative journey of their barely-on-life support writing careers and creative endeavors. They formed NO HOPE Productions in 2003 when they presented their first musical DOSE! at the East Village’s Kraine Theatre. Since, they have written five full-length musicals and presented more than a dozen evenings of new music including SIREN/KINGS and PULLING THE PLUG at the legendary Joe’s Pub and THE YEAR AFTER at The Green Room 42. Their musical HELLO, MY NAME IS BILLY was a Backstage Critic’s Pick and a FringeNYC award winner. On film, their song “Fools Like You” was featured in the acclaimed documentary ACTRESS; you can also find their music video “Evolution” featuring Siren on YouTube. The NO HOPE Songbook Volume I: 2003-2013, which includes their MAC Award nominated “So Many Reasons” can be purchased on their website nohopeproductions.com. Recently they received a Fruitie award for Outstanding One Act at the Fresh Fruit Festival for their first consensual cannibal musical, ONCE BEGUN.

Smart, talented, funny hosts!

Been a fan of these two hosts and their work for years, maybe even decades at this point? Always fresh, funny, and right when you think they get too cynical, they throw in some gorgeous sentimentality. These guys are fabulous. Can’t wait for season two!
