A lot of people are talking about burnout, so I won’t say No One Talks about it. But sometimes what we do here is talk about those pervasive topics, and just dig in a little deeper.
My friend, and fellow podcaster, Jess Jones joined me to talk about what burnout REALLY feels like. Jess is a nationally-recognized Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Writer, Speaker, and Digital Content Strategist. Jessica also co-hosts the top 50 Food Heaven Podcast, which explores the intersections of nutrition, health, and wellness through a social justice lens. As you can hear just by listening to that bio–which doesn’t even capture all that Jess does as a dietitian and entrepreneur—there’s a lot on her plate. And for a few years, there was way too much. We talk about that today, and we talk about how, in some ways, her body totally shut down in response to burnout.
