3. What Burnout Really Feels Like with Jessica Jones No One Talks About

    • Society & Culture

A lot of people are talking about burnout, so I won’t say No One Talks about it. But sometimes what we do here is talk about those pervasive topics, and just dig in a little deeper.
My friend, and fellow podcaster, Jess Jones joined me to talk about what burnout REALLY feels like. Jess is a nationally-recognized Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Writer, Speaker, and Digital Content Strategist. Jessica also co-hosts the top 50  Food Heaven Podcast, which explores the intersections of nutrition, health, and wellness through a social justice lens. With over 3 million downloads to date, the Food Heaven podcast has been a pillar for accessible and inclusive health and wellness since 2015.
As you can hear just by listening to that bio–which doesn’t even capture all that Jess does as a dietitian and entrepreneur—there’s a lot on her plate. And for a few years, there was way too much. We talk about that today, and we talk about how, in some ways, her body totally shut down in response to burnout.
These conversations are housed on NoOneTalksAbout.Substack.com, where you can read more, and add your own stories to each episode, and essay. We also have a Google Voice line, where you can leave us a message sharing your voice, story, and/or question: call us at 719-357-9079. And follow along on Instagram @noonetalksaboutpod .
