Jack the Ripper steals H.G. Wells' REAL time machine and escapes to modern New York City. Wells gives chase, and wacky hijinks ensue... at least they would, if this were a film starring Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen! Instead, "Time After Time" is an hour-long drama from 2017 starring Freddie Stroma as Wells and Josh Bowman as Jack that aired on ABC for all of 5 episodes. Will our intrepid media masochists be able to withstand the mind-straightening dullness of a time travel show that refuses to time travel, or will this finally be the timeline where they discover the Absolute Worst?
