Great Catholic Podcast: exhortation to virtue

I find this podcast has had a real impact on my practice as a Catholic, calling me to more, because God is worth it.
I only wish this podcast would include all the stuff from the YouTube channel. As a Daily Wire fan, is like to hear their interview with Michael Knowles.

Very fringe-y

I was a fan of the older episodes and Taylor’s blog from back in the day. It was all traditional, but balanced, kind, smart. Sadly, there has been a big shift the last year or so, towards a much more click-bait-y, gossipy, lowbrow conversation. Also, it has to be said that Timothy really doesn’t add much to any of the conversations, just as a nodding yes-man for Taylor’s assertions. I’ve stopped watching/listening for now, as the negativity and conspiracy-theory fodder has really reached an all-time high. Bring back a good solid intellectual conversation and I’ll be back.

Once Great Now Just Drama

This podcast used to be great for learning theology, church history, and the inner workings of doctrine. The older podcasts (2018 and prior) can still benefit a Catholic growing on their faith.

The last several months have had a sad shift from focusing on teaching and forming strong Catholics to a focus on speculation to scandal. Dr. Marshall fell away from his core competency of teaching and instead focuses on drama, scandal, and speculation. It's a shame.
