Insightful, thought-provoking, and amazing!

Absolutely loving this podcast! Can't wait for more content from them

What are the host’s qualifications? Seemingly none

Do you remember the most pretentious guy on your dorm floor freshman year? That’s Shaun Lau in a nutshell. He’s got zero qualifications and a laughably weak grasp of basic sociology or history. There’s a reason he’s pushing forty years old and still barely can pay his rent. Most underwhelming podcast I’ve ever heard.

Asian Americans: Listen UP!! Shaun’s got it going on~

Sometimes I feel like I’m over-surrounded by American-ness… you know, when things are too American? (read: whiteness, the toxic kind that erases black & brown people, and other marginalized POCs).

No, Totally! offers that sweet breath of refreshing air that we all need. Shaun gets the guests you wish you heard about on NPR or mainstream news, from his Twitter network of thoughtful, down-to-earth… critical thinkers? leaders? activists? journalists? — it’s hard to define exactly the group he interviews, except that they offer critical commentary of the chosen topic of the weekly podcast.

My fav show so far (only listened to 4+ episodes atm), is his March 2017 podcast on the movie Get Out, which offers some of the best contemplations-in-one-spot on the movie, including a black/queer lens + asian-american as well.

Really thoughtful podcast here! Definitely give it a listen.
