Hey everybody! Welcome to episode 101 of the Not Joanna Eggs podcast! This week, Robin and Tracy are joined by recurring guest/friend of the show, Jacob Davison (@jacobdavison_) to discuss season 2 of Infinity Train, the fantastical sci-fi show on Cartoon Network.

So to celebrate, we're doing it to the most suitable scale possible - by talking about Katsuhiro Otomo's 1988 masterpiece, Akira! We're joined by friends of the show and just straight-up awesome people, Angus Beer and Meekly Sheepling!
Join us as we discuss the grotesquely beautiful aesthetic of Neo Tokyo, Kaneda's tendency to destroy perfectly good motorcycles and our hopes for a possible live action adaptation. (Fingers crossed for a Guillermo Del Toro guest direction scene!) Do not do a drinking game to this movie with them saying each other's names. You WILL die and we assume no liability.

Episode 99: Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Hey everybody! Welcome to episode 99 of the Not Joanna Eggs podcast! This week, Robin and Tracy talk about the 1988 technological marvel animated film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Join them as they discuss the groundbreaking animation/live action technique, Jessica Rabbit's possible asexuality theory and sharing mutual nightmares of Judge Doom played by the delightfully hammy Christopher Lloyd.
This film was directed by Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Back to the Future), animation directed by Richard Williams (The Thief and the Cobbler) and produced by Steven Spielberg (c'mon, you know who he is). And yes, it's as great as it sounds. Go watch it already!

Meekly Sheepling ,

Hello there, Joanna!

I've discovered them back in 2016- they are still a riot! I started to take the podcasts on the go while I work and listening to reviews for films I finally watched. Still find them very hilarious and very detailed with their research, I'm always down to listen to chill all the way to passionately (and/or angry) reviews on animated films. Keep up the good work, guys!

Great animation podcast

I think this is a great podcast all around for fans of animation. Tracy and Robbie have fun lighthearted and insightful discussions that are well paced and produced. I'm only a few episodes in but I wanted to say keep up the good work.
