Fantastic Pod

I have become a huge fan of this show. Seasons 1 and 2 were fantastic! Interesting characters who are each undergoing their own personal journeys of transformation. The DM has done an amazing job weaving their individual stories into the shared narrative. Gail, the reluctant quasi-leader whose sensitivity, self-consciousness, and anxiety, often lead him to make really insightful and empathetic decisions, is learning that when he bravely takes a stand against evil, he rarely ends up standing alone. Evanelle, the bright, almost bubbly, self-confident, and caring nurturer is discovering a deep, unexpected dark side that comes out in her unquenchable rage and in draconic dreams. Rook, the man of mystery who struggles to process his own emotion, and whose abilities are sometimes hidden even from the other players. Thad and Sky seem to have the saddest backstories seem to be learning about themselves in real time. Fantastic stories. And also genuinely funny. I will never think of the words “stunning” or “dashing” in the same way again.
