When you stop fighting for the lost, you get lost. - Life is busy and there are lots of things trying to get our attention. It is easy to get distracted, but it is also easy to simply start thinking that we are here for our own pleasure and benefit. We forget that we are here to take care of each other and we are here to fight for the lost. When we start living like that, we end up doing huge amounts of damage to others and to ourselves. Actually, when we start living like that, we can end up in a worse situation than the lost.

Let God handle everyone else; You need to just focus on what God is trying to tell you. - It is a very natural response to celebrate when your enemies get what they deserve. The sense of justice is very nice and it makes you feel vindicated. And sometimes when we are facing pain, we anxiously wait for our enemies to be in pain too. Yet, these reactions don't seem to fit with what God desires. Even though justice can be a very good thing, God wants to give mercy more than justice. And God wants us to react differently too.
Let God handle everyone else; You need to just focus on what God is trying to tell you.

When you meet the living Christ something real happens to you. - Everything about Christianity hinges on Jesus rising from the dead. If that didn't happen, there is no point following Jesus. If that did happen, then nothing else matters. That is the key element we must face and deal with. When we examine the evidence, we have very good reasons to believe Jesus is actually alive today!

Get the Boss involved. - Throughout Jesus' ministry He showed that He was in charge wherever He went. He proved He had total authority over this world and the next. He even proved He had authority over sin and death! When we face things that are over our heads, it's always a good idea to get Jesus involved because He has authority to fix it.

He has to be your King if you want to be in His Kingdom. - Jesus came to the world as its rightful King and to invite us to be part of His Kingdom. You have to be a Canadian citizen to have a Canadian passport. You have to be a Costco member to shop at Costco. You can only have one king, and you are only in their kingdom if they are your king.
1 Sam 8:7-9
He has to be your King if you want to be in His Kingdom.

The victory of Jesus isn't hidden and secret; He wants to share it with you. - In stories we hear about how pirates would collect and hide their treasure. We imagine what it would be like to find that hidden and secret treasure, but we know that we won't actually ever find it. It would take too much work, be too complicated, and maybe even not actually exist. When something is so valuable, we assume it's not really attainable. When we think about Jesus, we assume His victory is like hidden treasure, but it's not.
