We're Not So Weird - Podcast Launch

We're Not So Weird - Podcast Launch

001 - In this episode hosts Adam and Kaita launch their new podcast, Not So Weird.
We are a father and daughter team that has decided to reconnect by launching this podcast.
We provide our listeners an opportunity to have an authentic human experience. We hope that’s not too weird and hope this podcast will be entertaining and fun to listen to and for you to get to know us better.
We’re here to have a good time and to be transparent about the things that make us “weird” in hopes of uncovering something that you can relate to on a deep level. Also to spend more time with each other!
We both feel it’s important to provide an opportunity not only to reconnect with each other but also to provide a safe place for others to feel comfortable, welcomed, and accepted in a world that for many feel increasingly weirder by the minute. We’re here to share with you, that with love and understanding, it’s not so weird after all.
When you are comfortable in your weirdness, you allow other people to be comfortable in theirs! Being unique and “weird” is what people love about you. It’s what makes you, you.
Whenever I open up about something that makes me feel different, it’s so incredible how many people will tell you, “I’ve had that same experience.” I think it’s important to talk about things that make you feel different so that you can realize that we’re all so similar, underneath it all.
