Each week one of BoardingArea's talented crew of bloggers will jump in the cock pit with "Captain" Ed Pizza, host of Miles to Go and writer of Pizza in Motion. On each NowBoarding flight, you'll get a chance to learn more about the folks behind your favorite travel blogs. How they got into blogging about flights, hotels, credit cards and other deals; their favorite destinations and preferred credit cards and loyalty programs.

Time For Some Construction. Be Back Soon
Welcome back to the NowBoarding podcast. This is your host, Ed Pizza. It’s time to do a bit of construction, which means I’m going to extend the downtime for the show a couple of weeks. I’m transitioning to a new platform for both of my podcasts and it’s proving to be a bigger task than I expected. I want to get everything set up correctly and take a bit of time with my family to rest and regroup.
While NowBoarding is on sabbatical, I will have new episodes each week of the Miles to Go Podcast, where we talk with some of the best minds in travel on how to maximize your miles and points to see the world. You can find a link to it in the show notes.

New Format
So excited for this new format. I listen to travel podcasts every day on my 35 mile commute to work and sometimes struggle to find new current content. Ed is one of my favorite hosts. I’ve listened to every episode of both of his podcasts so 5 days a week sounds great! Though if you want to spend a little more time discussing the items, feel free, I’ve got time.
New format
Sorry to say but I can’t get behind this format. There’s nothing of substance to listen to. Just a line item saying “this is happening go read about here”. It’s barely a step above an email notification with the daily summary of all boarding area posts with a filter to take away some really useless posts. This format doesn’t allow for us to know more about the story and why it should be important or provide insight that the author of the original piece or listener might not have thought of or know.
I miss the old format.
What’s not to like
This guy is warm, funny and entertaining. There’s nothing not like and the guests never get stale. It’s also one of the few miles and points shows that keep things fresh and stays up to date. Highly recommended
