Beautiful podcast gives hope for the future.

I'm a 33 man marrying a woman who the strength to remain pure until our upcoming wedding in May. I only wish this was thought in my schools and that my parents would have called me to the highest standard of chastity so on our wedding night I could have given her the same gift she is giving me.

chastity is not revolutionary

Chastity is millennia-old oppression of women, and bringing back these archaic concepts of sexuality will reinforce patriarchy and male-dominated society, creating an even more exploitative scenario for women (for the record, I'm a male). This is commonplace in many parts of the world and is synonymous with women being treated as inferior to men at best, slaves at worst. Even out of that context, the idea of waiting until marriage for sex was peachy 2000 years ago when people got married when they were 13 or 14, because you didn't have to really wait much. But you genuinely expect people to remain abstinent through their sexual peak because of some mysterious covenant from a book with no evidence supposedly guided by a non-existent being? Men and especially women need to break off the chains of this repressive ideology and get down with an authentic sexual revolution that preaches equality, not subservience. "Women hold up half the heavens!" I recommend subscribing just so you can hear how full of it these people are.
