If You Love the Word, You Will Love These Lectures

Outstanding lectures by Greg K. Beale on the New Testament’s fulfillment of the major themes of the Old Testament. Beale insightfully connects the dots from Genesis to Revelation revealing Christ, his Church, and the New Creation. Beale is especially insightful on God’s Dwelling Place from Eden to the Temple/Tabernacle, Christ, Church, and New Jerusalem. The theme of idolatry in the OT to apostate Tradition in the Gospels, Paul’s Conversion as a paradigm for his whole theology, and Israel and the Church are all explored with conviction and thoughtfulness. If you love the Bible, you will enjoy these lectures. But hold on to your hat, Beale is a fast-talker, you will need to hit pause and rewind on many occasions.

I don't know how Dr Beale's students keep up with his lectures. I am glad that I have the pause button. Otherwise I don't think that I could keep up with his pace.

"Biblical Theology" is the “study of the Bible that seeks to discover what the biblical writers, under divine guidance, believed, described, and taught in the context of their own times" (Baker's Evangelical Dictionary).

Beale shows that the theme of "End Times" is actually one of the major themes of the Bible and that the latter days are not some future event but began at the coming of Christ.
