Partnerships That Change Lives: KEDC's New Horizons Academy

Check out New Horizons Academy website for more information! Welcome to this bonus episode from season three. We are getting ready to launch season four, which will bring a new exciting visual aspect and audio and will be recording on YouTube. So you'll get to see both me and my guests as we interview and discuss things for season four. And you'll also get to listen to it like you have been on audio in the last few seasons. But today, On Empowering Ed Talks, the KEDC podcast, we are celebrating stories that remind us why education matters most. I'm your host Brandy Breeze. And in this episode, we're shining a light on the incredible graduates and their families from the New Horizons Academy. It's our virtual academy here at KEDC, and it's a place where second chances can become new beginnings. You'll hear firsthand how deeper learning, strong relationships, and meaningful pathways shape these students and their families to a more personalized success. This is more than a graduation story, even though we were recording right after the celebration and graduation this past spring. It's a story of perseverance, purpose, and the power of personalized learning right here in Kentucky that's offered to all of our member districts here at KEDC. We hope you enjoy. We hope it paints a better picture of the partnerships between the school district, New Horizons, and KEDC, and the family. And we hope you feel inspiration of thinking outside the box for our students. We're helping them with what matters most, graduating and acquiring the education that goes along with being a graduate of a Kentucky school. Thank you and enjoy.
