Suicide was the leading cause of death for teens in 2020. Josh & Katie created Pivot Adventure to teach kids how to get through hard times, how to become emotional intelligent and at the same time they have build community for teens who haven’t found a place of belonging. They found a way to create something affordable yet extremely effective to make real impact. By bringing these kids into nature to teach them about these emotional tools while building physical resilience like rock climbing, snow shoeing and others, it shows them that by moving their bodies and learning new concepts is the key to finding new ways to cope through a difficult moment. They also simultaneously have the parents involved in this program so the teens and parents grow & learn together. Be sure to buy a ticket to our fundraiser cocktail party on 11/11/22.
