Kids Eat in Color with Jennifer Anderson
Jennifer Anderson, a registered dietitian, joins Gina and Nicole on today's episode to talk on the topic of choosy eaters and how to appropriate rear and nudge littles into being more accepting eaters. Jennifer has a masters of science in public health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. In 2019, she founded Kids Eat in Color, a resource that helps families feed their children from their first bite of solid food, through picky eating, and elementary-aged nutrition needs. Prior to starting Kids Eat in Color she coordinated youth nutrition programs at a food bank, performed research in inner-city food deserts, and consulted for the USDA national office SNAP-Ed program. Her academic background is in public health nutrition, cultural anthropology, and economics. Welcome to today's show!

As a fellow pediatric dietitian I love this podcast! It’s informative, but also lighthearted! One of the favorite parts of my Sundays. And I enjoy when they catch up at the beginning; makes me feel like we are all best friends:)
Good working mom content
I enjoy listening to the cohosts chat about their lives and working motherhood as two moms who work full-time in “traditional” jobs—they are very relatable. I like that the cohosts bring different perspectives and feel comfortable disagreeing and challenging one another. I enjoy the variety of topics that are covered, which go beyond nutrition though I do wonder if the podcast title is a little misleading as the content isn’t limited to dietetics.
