This whole AI phenomenon has gotten me really confused but also intrigued. I know how to use ChatGPT and all, but I knew there was a lot more to it. I don’t want to see this all as “magic” that I’d just use. I wanted to understand what it is and how it works, so it makes perfect sense. And so that I can “really” use it to its fullest extent. To that end, I decided to start from scratch. So I went down all the way to episode one. And having listened to that, so much which was so confusing is now perfectly clear and fits together. It’s like driving a car with a manual stick shift. You can learn how to shift gears, but if you understand the basics mechanics of a gearbox, then you know how to get the best performance out of your engine and also extend the lifetime of your brakes with downshifting at the right time.
