Amazing

I'm currently at the very beginning of the long road to get a Ph. D. in material sciences. After watching this course over the past month or so, I have gained a whole new level of interest in the field of solid state chemistry. Donald Sadoway is such an amazing professor, and I fear he has raised my expectations for my future professors to unrealistic heights. In every lecture you can see his passion and dedication to solid state chemistry. His obvious passion for the subject makes the lectures so interesting and enjoyable to watch.

I would recommend this to anyone with even a passive curiosity in material science.

Just undeniably Awesome!

Fantastic! Donald Sadoway is a national treasure! lectures are great; even a chemistry novice like me can follow it or see where to get more info. The introduction is something i will show to all three of my children so they can see what it means to have a lifelong passion and dedication to your work; it is very inspiring!
I wound up watching these lectures after trying to help my son in high school chem and not knowing why the hydrogens in water didn't slide to opposite sides.
