ODND Presents: A Fistful Of Dice

I started listening to this podcast to hear people play the Savage Worlds Edition of Deadlands so I could get an idea of the rules and how to play. However, it seems like the DM has the barest idea of the rules himself (I’ve learned next to nothing about the game). Not only is he the most boring DM I’ve ever heard (and this includes the kids in the middle school D&D club my wife and I organized) I’m not sure he even read the adventure beforehand. It seems like he’s just winging it. And he’s a terrible storyteller. He barely describes anything and just jumps all over the place. The guy needs to at least attempt to create some atmosphere or ambience. With the exception of the preacher lady (who is excellent) the players and their characters are straight up irritating. Don’t waste your time on this. There are many other rpg podcasts that are way better!
