Thanks you
Must listen for Entourage fans
I am a habitual watcher of the series. This podcast has been so great, if only to reminisce on such good times with my bros. But it’s so much more than that.
Always looking forward to the weekly episodes!
Not Great
I am a big fan of this show. Along with Seinfeld it’s my favorite show of all time. I’ve seen it through probably 8 times. That being said, I would expect someone who has a podcast to know at least as much as I do about the show. In one episode the guest asked if Billy Walsh was in the movie and JR said he didn’t think so. He absolutely was in the movie and that is something I would think would be an easy answer for someone running a podcast. They also bash on the show quite a bit and act like the show should be woke like in this liberal PC culture we are in today. The show WAS NOT PC and that was kinda the point. In the podcast with the female for I believe episode 5, she just straight up slammed the show. How bad it was, how horrible the writing was, etc. I was surprised she went on the podcast if she hated the show so much. I stopped listening to that episode in the first few minutes because she annoyed me so much. Ok yeah she liked it when it first ran but not now because things “haven’t aged well.” Well maybe people should stop being so sensitive and understand it’s comedy. The guests also are people who liked the show but haven’t seen it in a long time it seems. Not people who are still really big fans. One guest said that he wished the “hug it out” would have extended past the first episode. Where it wasn’t a catch phrase, it did appear multiple times throughout the series. Even the last episode when they were in the hanger and about to get on their prospective planes. They just don’t seem to know much about the show, not enough at least to be on a podcast about it. I don’t care what the number one song was the day an episode came out. I want to hear about the show and there just isn’t enough info to hear to make this podcast worth listening to. The Victory podcast with the originals…they haven’t seen the episodes in a long time but at least they were apart of it and have insight to share. I always look forward to those episodes even though they can ramble on about non Entourage stuff as well. Much better podcast on Entourage than this one. Surprised to see Jerry is on as many episodes of this podcast as he is with all the bashing and hating. Maybe that changes as it goes on but I don’t want to keep hearing about how things haven’t aged well. We all understand that things are different today. That’s not Doug Ellin and others fault that people are snowflakes these days.
