Avocadolove1030 ,

I miss you!

I still find myself listening to old episodes. I wish Courtney would return!

Huge Fan

I’ve been a huge fan of Courtney T. Edison since first discovering him on the radio when I lived in NYC. I’m very happy that I can now get his shows as podcasts too. The only thing that I ask is: please WFMU let him do more shows! He’s a national treasure!

The one! The only!

I am an unapologetic fan of Courtney T. Edison, America’s greatest (and oldest) fill-in radio host. In between the 78s that he insists on playing “like they’re going out of style,” the Old Codger unwinds monologues about (a) how old he is, (b) how terrible culture has been since Sophie Tucker died, (c) how incredible awesome Sophie Tucker was! Now there was a dame!! Here’s hoping more WFMU deejays find some vacation days so I can get my codge on more often!!!
