Truly One Of The Best!
I currently drive a big truck for work and listen to A LOT of podcasts. I rate ologies among my favorites (of about 40), along with Mindscape, Song Exploder, This American Life, and Story Collider. So informative, clever, funny, and what a great voice!
The Lord of the Ologies: Return of the Queen (bad LOTR ref)
Not me twerking in the shower to the theme song of Ologies’ latest episode (Gustology (TASTE) with Gary Beauchamp) in celebration of Allie “doing hella better”!!! Missed u girl🤍 Thanks for taking care of you and all you do
10/10
I had this added to my list for at least a few years, but I finally started to listen now that I work from home and I have had it on ✨religiously✨for the past several weeks. I’m just finishing up the 2020 episodes.
My favorite parts about this podcast is that it is a genuinely safe and inclusive mental space for marginalized communities, and Alie is incredibly charming and personable, and it’s so refreshing to have someone on a podcast casually talk about their experience and their weird little things they do and being able to *aggressively* yell out “OMG ME TOO!” And pause and question if I am actually hallucinating the podcast and only hearing my own internal monologue.
Alie, I know you’re going to read this. Bless you for making this podcast, thank you for being willing to have an honest discussion about the hard and uncomfortable stuff, and thank you for making me feel like I’m hanging out with a best friend who is into all the nerdy gremlin stuff I am also into while I’m listening. You and Ologies are good for my mental health. May literally everything in life go right and well for you. ❤️
