On asking for help, investing in your business, and the value of time with Sandy Dang

Reprogramming with Lindsay Hyatt

If you’re a solopreneur- it’s in the name. You do it all.

Or maybe you’re an entrepreneur going it alone— one who knows your reach and impact could be so much greater, but it’s not yet time to bring on contractors or a team.

You may even enjoy having your hands in all the aspects of your business. (This is me!) There’s nothing wrong with it. But I suspect you’ve also had more than one moment of complete overwhelm, isolation and wondering when it all gets easier.

The hard truth is we aren’t meant to do this thing alone. YES even solopreneurship.

Is there a better way?

Our guest today confirms what you probably already know.

As an immigrant, she was engrained with an independent spirit, encouraged to take the long way and save the $2 toll, and lean into her capabilities.

Today, we talk about NOT having to be a superhuman or supermom- and how to go about reprogramming what so many of us are wired to do.

Sandy Dang is is a launch strategist and copywriter for online course creators. She specializes in prelaunch plans and sales page audits. Originally from New York City, she moved to Dubai in 2007 and has lived there ever since.

She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. To keep her creativity alive, she started a food and travel blog, which has won numerous awards, and was nominated for "Best Food Blog" by BBC Good Food Middle East in 2016.

When she's not writing for her clients or on her food memoir, she's either in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, hiking in the mountains, or camping in the desert.
